I’ve recently teamed up with Bestway Tours, an independent tour operator based in Vancouver who specializes in organizing small group cultural tours throughout the world. On the 12-day Culinary Journey Through Vietnam (November 4-15, 2018) we’ll taste our way through the fresh and varied cuisines of north, central, and south Vietnam. The tour features street food and market walks, hands on cooking classes and cooking demonstrations, visits with local food artisans, as well as a host of lunches and dinners from some of the country’s best cooks.

Bestway has organized all of the travel and accommodation logistics and teamed up with knowledgeable local guides who’ll provide us with historical and cultural insights about landmarks we’ll visit. I’m in charge of all culinary aspects of the trip and I’ve chosen the tastiest food stalls, restaurants, and cooking schools (many who are friends of mine). I’ll help with all the ordering of food and assist in answering or clarifying any culinary questions you may have (on the trip or when you return home).
